We prioritize support for underserved populations, including entrepreneurs in rural areas, low-to-moderate income communities, and those facing geographic isolation or limited professional networks. When barriers are removed, innovation thrives and communities strengthen.

We remove financial barriers that prevent people with innovative ideas from accessing entrepreneurship education and support. Through grant funding, we enable underserved individuals to participate in Builders + Backers Studio programs at no cost.

Builders + Backers Foundation emerged from the demonstrated success of the Builders + Backers Studio platform, which has delivered exceptional results with 8,000+ ideas sourced, 2,100+ entrepreneurs equipped, 1,000+ experiments funded, and 600+ companies launched.
The Foundation operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, extending this proven methodology to underserved populations through grant funding. Our approach naturally creates inclusive outcomes, with 57% of Studio participants being women and 67% being people of color, demonstrating that removing barriers leads to diverse entrepreneurship.
